Saturday, May 3rd is the fifth annual May Day in Charlestown!
On May Day, businesses team up for a fun day in the neighborhood to celebrate spring. There is a neighborhood cleanup, as well as shopping, dining, fitness, and fun for the whole family. The goal is to drum up support for local businesses and take care of the fabulous neighborhood we are lucky enough to call home!
Here's who is participating:
NEIGHBORHOOD CLEANUP
Help us kick off May Day with a neighborhood cleanup, sponsored by Charlestown Dogs. Meet us at 10:00am at the Monument!
Even if you can't make it to our clean sweep, we encourage everyone in the neighborhood to get out and clean up the sidewalk or park near their home! We will be handing out chalk on Main Street to decorate the sidewalks too!
RETAIL STORES
Junebug - We are a floral, plant and gift boutique located on Main Street! We will have a floral installation in the Training Field! Stop by to say hello and tag @junebugcharlestown and @placeandgather in your Instagram post for a chance to win a $100 gift card!

Charlestown Preservation Society - “Celebrate May Day in Charlestown with the Charlestown Preservation Society. Historic homes and buildings will be spotlighted with a self-guided walking tour and children’s scavenger hunt. Each home's history will be on display for all the town to see.
